CISM Revision Course Ardsley House Hotel, Barnsley The Northern England Chapter is hosting a residential CISM Revision course in April 2010. This 3 day course will run from 28-30th April 2010. The venue, Ardsley House Hotel, Barnsley is easily accessible from the M1 Motorway. Course Details The ISACA Northern England Chapter’s CISM Revision Course has one of the highest success rates of delegates passing the exam. The course will cover all CISM exam areas in a participative format, and will include practice exams. The course is being run on a residential basis so delegates will benefit from sharing experiences with each other and with the course tutor outside of the classroom environment. Course Tutor: Vernon Poole (Sapphire) Vernon Poole is Head of Business Consultancy at Sapphire, responsible a team of business consultants dealing with Information Governance, Information Security Management best practice standards and associated areas (ISO27000 series; IT Continuity Management; ITIL; COBIT; ValIT). Vernon is well respected in the Business Consultancy profession, holding senior positions on several professional bodies, including ISACA & CIPFA. At ISACA, Vernon is the UK representative on the global Security Management Committee; at CIPFA, he is the UK IT Audit/IS representative. He holds several respected information security qualifications, including CISM & CGEIT, and provides tailored advice on these qualifications. Prior to joining Sapphire, Vernon was the UK/European Security Manager with Deloitte for over 7 years.
